Signature of the EFFAS/CISI Agreement

60 b 1EFFAS and the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) have signed an agreement to promote the qualification of European professionals in the finance field. The agreement was signed on Friday 17th of January in London between Mr. Simon Culhane, CISI´s Chief ExecutiveOfficer, and Mr. Jesús López Zaballos, EFFAS´s Chairman. This important agreement will enable EFFAS´s National Member Societies to promote and train candidates for CISI qualifications and the CISI to promote among its associates the Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA) qualification, granted by the Association of Certified International Investment Analysts (ACIIA).

63 b 1The Securities Analysts Association of Japan (SAAJ) will hold the 6th SAAJ International Seminar on Friday April 24, 2015, in Tokyo, entitled “Asset Management in Asia: Opportunities and Future Development”. The seminar focuses on business management and investment strategies that will enable asset managers to be successful in Asia on a sustainable basis. Discussion will be led by forefront experts and senior executives who have insights into both global and local management.

This seminar is free of charge for CIIA holders from abroad who are most welcome to attend. Simultaneous interpretation in English and Japanese will be available.
