Upon kindly invitation of DVFA Germany the ACIIA Council Meeting and the Annual General Meeting will be held in Frankfurt on Jun 29th 2017
In December 2016, a new ACIIA Council Members was elected, Ms. Ruth Kung representing The Asian Securities and Investment Federation (ASIF).
Ms. Ruth Kung is the Chief Executive of Hong Kong Securities and Investment (HKSI) Institute. She is also the Executive Director of Education and Development Department overseeing the development and implementation of professional training and development for in-services practitioners of the financial services industry in Hong Kong.
During the Council Meeting hold in Paris on 30 June 2016 the council members were confirmed, and afterwards ratified by the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Upon invitation on the Association of Société Française des Analystes Financiers (SFAF), the ACIIA Board gathered together on June 30, 2016 in occasion of their 1st Council meeting of the year, followed in the afternoon by the Annual General Meeting of the Association.
During this June Meetings the main discussions were around the transition to the CIIA new Syllabus, the appointment of the new International Examination Committee for the term of 1 Jan 2017 to 31 Dec 2019, elections of new Council Members, the framework on the procedures for a new membership status and membership fee structure and the enhancement of the CIIA product design and the promotion strategy in the local, and international level.
Upon invitation on The Securities Analysts Association of Japan (SAAJ), the ACIIA Board gathered together on November 11, 2016, in occasion of their 2nd Council Meeting of the year.
During the November edition of the Council Meeting, following topics - among others - have been discussed by the ACIIA Board:
- Proposal on a new membership structure
- Enhancement of the CIIA product design
- Promotion strategy & changes in website and ACIIA brochure
- Approach strategy to social media
