IASB CHAIRMAN VISITED SAAJ ON 4 FEBRUARY 2020

Mr. Hans Hoogervorst, IASB Chairman, visited the Securities Analysts Association of Japan (SAAJ) in Tokyo on 4 February 2020.

He and Dr. Yasuhiro Maehara, CEO of SAAJ, exchanged views on various matters related to the development of IFRS Standards.

In the video (click below), Mr. Hoogervorst described the two important agenda for IASB and sent the message to the users of financial statements, cautioning that the users pay attention to macroeconomic environments in which these statements are prepared.
