Stefan Braunschweig is CEO at the Swiss Financial Analysts Association (SFAA) and AZEK AG. The SFAA aims at contributing to ensure a high level of qualification among professionals working in the financial sector. In Switzerland, the SFAA is recognized by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) as the examining and awarding body in relation to the Federal Diplomas. It is also the parent company of the Swiss training centre AZEK, which contributes to the standing of the Swiss financial sector by offering a set of high quality training programs to cover the specific needs of both the financial professionals and their employers.

Before joining SFAA/AZEK, Mr. Braunschweig spent over two decades in senior leadership positions spanning global banking, financial analysis, and institutional risk governance. He served as Head of Performance and Risk within the CIO Office at Credit Suisse.

Mr. Braunschweig has been a member of the SFAA examination commission and expert examiner since 2008. He is also a member of the Swiss GIPS Expert Group since 2005. Mr. Braunschweig holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Zurich, is a CFA® charterholder and holds the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM®) designation.
