With the support of the Banco Santander, EFFAS organizes since 2008 the EFFAS Summer School in Madrid, in the Santander Financial City (Boadilla del Monte – Madrid)..

The ESS enhances the networking between existing EFFAS designation holders, CIIA candidates and other investment professionals, in a truly international environment.

The 9th edition of the Summer School took place on 6-8 July 2016.

Simultaneous plenary sessions and workshops, lectures on current topics of interest were given by professors and experts from various industry sectors.

The 3rd  annual Family Office Summit India 2015 (FOSI) has been organized in Bengaluru on June 17, Delhi on June 18 and in Mumbai on June 19 by our Indian member AIWMI.

This year the keynote speaker was Mr. Alexandre Monnier, President, Family Office Exchange (FOX), USA.

DVFA 6th Investment Consultant Conference held in Frankfurt

On November 25th, 2014, the German society DVFA hosted the 6thInvestment Consultant Conference in Frankfurt. This annual conference is a meeting point for investment consultants and asset managers to discuss current issues of the industry. Again over 100 decision makers gathered under the headline “Fiduciary Management – Competition or Co-operation between Financial Consultants and Asset Managers”.

As usual the conference was structured in a keynote and two panel discussions followed by a get-together.

6th SAAJ International Seminar, Asset Management in Asia, April 24, Tokyo

The Securities Analysts Association of Japan (SAAJ) will hold the 6th SAAJ International Seminar on Friday April 24, 2015, in Tokyo, entitled “Asset Management in Asia: Opportunities and Future Development”. The seminar will focuse on business management and investment strategies that will enable asset managers to be successful in Asia on a sustainable basis. Discussion will be led by forefront experts and senior executives who have insights into both global and local management.

This seminar is free of charge for CIIA holders from abroad who are most welcome to attend. Simultaneous interpretation in English and Japanese will be available.
