CIIA recognition by FSSC

In July 2007 the CIIA designation gained recognition from the Financial Services Skills Council in the United Kingdom as a Key 2 qualification. The ACIIA now has awarding body status and the CIIA qualification will be included on the appropriate examinations list for seven relevant activities that are regulated by the FSA (Financial Services Authority) in the UK.
The CIIA designation can be found in the examinations list by entering CIIA into the search table at the bottom of the page.
Successful candidates from the CIIA designation will need to take a UK specific examination such as those offered by The Securities and Investments Institute and The UKSIP for full recognition. Details of these examinations can be found on the FSSC website.
